Today, all the folks that drafted Chris Johnson or had him on your keeper roster got vindication. That’s right, the Tennessee Titans runningback inked a 4-year, 53.5 million extension. The Titans have Johnson through 2016, but of course to Johnson that means nothing.
The fantasy impact is simple, if you passed on Chris Johnson, you will likely pay for it. If you drafted Chris Johnson picks 5-9 then you got away with not only a steal, but bloody murder. Chris Johnson will be the focal point of the Titans offense and with Matt at the helm and a solid receiving core, the Titans should be able to control the ball with Johnson and move it just fine. I’m not saying that they will be running up scores, but I expect Chris Johnson to have a great season and improve his 2010 numbers.
2011 Projections: 1640 yards, 14 TDs, 41 receptions, 325 yards , 1 TD
